Vision. Hope. Strength.
Proverbs 2:9 “Then you will discover all that is just, proper, and fair, and be empowered to make the right decisions as you walk into your destiny. (TPT)
One thing the Lord does for us is that He takes us higher. He says, “Come up higher”. He takes us higher and when we are high up there, we have a vantage position. The truth is when you are on ground level, you cannot see what is going on. But if you have a drone and you take the drone high up, you can see where there is traffic congestion. The drone high up there, gives you a vantage position and clearer vision. This is what happens when you wait upon the Lord. He takes us on eagle’s wings, and we are able to see from a vantage position. Vision brings hope. The reason a lot of people are hopeless is because they lack vision. And guess what? Hope brings (infuses) strength. When you lose hope, you feel weary.
You will agree with me that when you lose hope on a matter, you just get tired, deflated even. God will renew your vision and renew your hope, thereby renewing your strength in the Name of Jesus. Hope has the power to change the way you look at tomorrow today. Hope gives you strength and infuses vitality into your heart. When you are hoping that something good is going to happen, it changes the way you see tomorrow today. For example, if you hear that a promotion list is coming out at work and that your name is on it, what happens? Some people won’t even be able to sleep because of the rush of energy they feel. When you get to the office and your name is on the promotion list, what happens? You are filled with life and energy so much so that you forget that you did not sleep last night. Hope infuses you with strength.
When the wedding date has been set, as a bride looking forward to your wedding day, what happens? Your heart is filled with hope and because you are hopeful, you have strength. Hope infuses you with strength. The word hope is used seventy-one times in the New Testament. Guess what? The word hope was used only once before the resurrection of Jesus. And it was used seventy times after the resurrection of Jesus. Amazing! What does that tell you? The resurrection of Jesus is at the crossroads of hope. You find strength in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Easter is amazing! It is still about six days to Easter, and Sunday is Palm Sunday.
But every day is Easter for the believer, every day is resurrection for the believer. Decisions create momentum, create life, and make energy available. The first thing you must decide on is Decide On The Vision For Your Future. You have to decide on the vision for your future.
Prayer: Father, by Your Spirit, renew my vision, infuse me with hope, and renew my strength. Guide my heart to discover Your vision for my future, in the Name of Jesus. Amen!
