Pre-Planned
Joshua 1:8 “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous… shalt have good success.” (KJV, emphasis added)
The necessity for the miraculous is inevitable. Even the people who deny the miraculous innately are seeking something that is beyond them. And so, they come up with different vices and different things to fill the void that only God can fill. Just like Jesus said to His disciples many times I am saying to you, blessed are your ears for hearing these things.
God is Spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. Since God is Spirit and we as children, it means we are primarily spirits. We are not just supposed to be spiritual. We are spirits having a bodily experience on Earth. We are not carnal and fleshly having a spiritual experience. We are spirits. There is nothing that happens that shocks God or takes Him by surprise. That is the way God has orchestrated things. He knows the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:10). It is His nature to call the things that are not as though they were (Romans 4:17). God characteristically would declare things ahead so that when it happens there will be no doubt that He is God (Isaiah 48:5). God does things pre-planned.
You are not an accident regardless of how you feel, and how people and situations have made you feel. You are not an accident, even if your parents told you that you were. To them you may actually have been an accident, but not to God. Psalm 139:16 “You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.” (emphasis added). We did not just happen on God, God planned us. You did not just stumble on this devotional, God brought you to it because He has something in mind for you, and it will come to pass in the Name of Jesus.
God’s intention is that your life will be lived out as He has planned it in His book. Hebrews 10:7 “Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.” (KJV). This is a prophetic scripture about Jesus. When you come according to the book that is written of you, you are in God’s will. It also means that it is possible to come in a way that has not been written therefore not be in God’s will. I pray for everyone whose life is out of sync with God’s will, that it will be synced today in Jesus Name. God showed Joshua in Joshua 1:8 how to sync what is going on in his life with what is written in God’s book. When you make His book a priority and you engage with God’s Word, your life syncs with what is written concerning you.
Prayer: Father, as I engage with Your Word daily, I will show up in every area of my life to do Your will as is written about me, completely synced with You, in the Name of Jesus. Amen!
