Ruth, Daniel and Paul

‘There’s an opportune time to do things, a right time for everything on the earth’ Ecc.3:1 [MSG]

Ruth transitioned properly and as a result she had a good testimony about her. She refused to abandon her late husband’s mother even though she knew there was nothing there for her but God. Ruth served Naomi well, when it was time to glean, she humbled herself and went to the fields without complains. It was her good testimony that attracted Boaz. Some of us ladies who are looking for life partners need to humble ourselves. Ruth humbled herself and packaged herself. We need to package ourselves and be willing to work. You desire marriage yet you are not willing to do anything. Believing that you have nothing to offer is a mindset that you need to let God change when you are in the wilderness. Package yourself well, let there be good reports and testimonies about you. Be something to be desired. Ruth had something to be desired. And at the right time God settled her. You don’t know what God wants to do through you if you will only build the right character. If you will only make the applicable changes in your life then you will see the glory of God.

Daniel went to Babylon as a slave. He was picked for a key position. While others were rejoicing at the opportunity to eat from the kings table, Daniel opted out because he did not want to defile himself. He knew his God. You need to know the God you serve and make up your mind not to get polluted. God honored Daniel’s faith and choice to stand for Him. The Bible says an excellent spirit was found in him. He lived through generations of kings and they were taking counsel from him. Daniel transitioned well.

Paul when he was Saul was wicked to Christians. Some of us had the same testimony before we met Jesus. But like Paul now that you have met with Jesus your life should change. He had a good resume but he counted it as loss for the glory of the Excellency of Christ Jesus. Whatever it is that the world can use to entice you back, you need to count it as loss for God so you can move forward. Transition begins with an end and ends with a beginning.

Prayer: Father, I pray that You will judge everything that is trying to frustrate me from getting into my promised land this year. I pray that I will transition well, in Jesus Name.
