Celebrate!

Ps.27:13-14  (NKJV) I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!

To cheer up is a choice. You have to choose to admit how you feel. You have to choose to be in the safe place God where has put you. You have to choose to let someone know when you are hurting. You have to choose to believe that God will help you. And you have to choose to keep your focus on God. You have to choose to hold on to the Word of God and choose to hear His voice. You have to choose to cheer up! Please confess this aloud: today I choose to admit how I feel, be in the safe place that God has put me, let someone know when I am hurting, believe that God will help me and keep my focus on God. I choose to hold on to God’s Word. I choose to hear His voice. I choose to CHEER UP! So, shall it be in Jesus Name, Amen!

Just in case you are wondering what happened to Hannah, the Bible says in 1Sam.1:19 (TLB)The Lord remembered her petition, in the process of time a baby boy was born to her.” I pray that as you do these things, God will remember your petitions to do them. God knows what is missing in your life, He knows. The Bible says in the process of time. In my walk with God, I have discovered that some things just take a process. And in the process of time, God gives me the things I have been trusting Him for. And in the process of time, I have that which I have requested of the Lord. 1 Sam.1:17 (TLB) “Cheer up!  May the Lord of Israel grant you your petition, whatever it is!’” (emphasis added).

Imagine I have only one shoe on. Instead of focusing on the shoe I do not have, I choose to praise God for the one He has given me. I choose to cheer up; and in the process of time, God gives me the other shoe. Imagine that I also need a tie, would it make sense for me to start crying again because I do not have a tie? Not at all. I will remember the God that has given me the shoes. And trust that if He gave me the shoes, in the process of time, He will also give me a tie. Matt.7:11 “So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask him.” Cheer up because God who has brought you this far, knows what you do not have and He knows what is good for you. In the process of time, He will make your joyfull. Cheer Up! (1 John 1:9a, GWT)God is faithful and reliable.”

Prayer:  Father, You are indeed faithful and reliable, the giver of good and perfect gifts. I fix my eyes on You and I rejoice in Your salvation, in Jesus Name. Amen!
