Sound Power
Joshua 1:8 “Never stop reciting these teachings. You must think about them night and day so that you will faithfully do everything written in them. Only then will you prosper and succeed.” (GW)
Yesterday, we looked at three significances of restored sound. The first is Your Voice Is Heard. The second significance of restored sound is Communication. The third significance is that your Expression of Identity is restored. Your voice carries your identity. Your voice is the expression of your identity. That is why voice response exists in authentication. You can speak, and the computer will know and recognize that it is you. The fourth significance of restored sound is the Emotional Impact. Sound has a huge emotional impact. Your emotions will be restored. When sound is restored, it brings healing, and sound is therapeutic. The fact that you can also speak and express yourself brings healing, and it is also therapeutic.
Just being able to talk about issues and having your voice heard brings healing and comfort. So, because your sound has been restored, your healing is being restored in the Mighty Name of Jesus. As your sound is being restored, your Creativity is being restored. Sound brings creativity. You create things with sound. Jesus used sound to create sound in the man. He said in Mark 7:34-35 “And looking up to heaven, he sighed and said to him, “Ephphatha,” that is, “Be opened.” And his ears were opened, his tongue was released, and he spoke plainly.” (ESV). He spoke to a deaf man, and the deaf man heard, and his ears were opened, and his tongue was loosed.
It takes sound to create things. Sound is creative. Beginning from today, because your sound is restored, your creative power is restored in the Mighty Name of Jesus. You call things into being. You call things that be not as though they were. Your sound serves as a medium of Artistic Expression and creative manifestations. As your sound is being restored, your Memory will become sharper because sound is tied to memory. You memorize faster the things you can recite. Do you know that? That is why the Bible says in Joshua 1:8 “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” (KJV).
People think that meditation is passive and quiet, but it is not; meditation is active and recital. You use your voice to recite. How did we learn the multiplication table back in the day? We memorized the entire thing through recitation because we put it in our mouths. Same as the periodic table in chemistry. What you speak connects to your intelligence.
Prayer: Father, Your sound creates sound in me and through me, and my sound carries benefits for me and everyone who hears my voice, in the Name of Jesus. Amen!
