Not You
1 Samuel 16:1 “Now the Lord said to Samuel, “You have mourned long enough for Saul. I have rejected him as king of Israel, so fill your flask with olive oil and go to Bethlehem. Find a man named Jesse who lives there, for I have selected one of his sons to be my king.”
The first thing the enemy tries to do is to quench (put out) the star, but he will continue to fail. The second thing he tries to do is to exchange the glory or transfer it. Stars can be exchanged and transferred, but I pray for you in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, that your star, your glory will not be given (transferred) to another. Your glory will not be exchanged in the Mighty Name of Jesus. A classic example is not being present at milestones of celebrations in your life. Parents go through a lot; you appreciate your parents, even more, when you become a parent yourself. So, a parent has laboured to raise his or her children, then at the child’s graduation, the parent is missing. That will not happen to you in the Name of Jesus.
Or after working hard to pay the child’s school fees for a school abroad, the child is graduating, and the embassy refuses to give you a visa. It is not going to happen; the gates will be lifted in Jesus Name. Then they say but there is an uncle in the country, let him represent you. No! These are signs of transferred glory. My grandmother used to pray for us, and I pray for you that no one else will handle ‘your business’. You have pressed the grapes; you will drink the wine thereof. Another example, particularly in the African culture, a parent has laboured over his or her children and when it is time for them to get married, the mother or father of the bride is not present, then they get a representative. No! In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, you will not be represented in your glory. In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, when it is time for your harvest, you will be present, in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
Another classic way glories are transferred is when people die before their time. God’s purposes are eternal, so when people die before their time, the glory is transferred to another. When an assignment is not done, it is transferred to another because God’s purposes must come to pass. David prayed some very brutal prayers in Psalm 109; when I first gave my life to Jesus, I struggled with this particular Psalm. Psalm 109:8 “Let his years be few; let someone else take his position.” Transferred glory will not be your portion in Jesus Name. Your light will not be put out, you will not die before your time in the Mighty Name of Jesus. As long as you are not tired of saying ‘Amen’, God will not be tired of answering your prayers.
A wife struggles to build a legacy with her husband, but things go south. Just as she steps out of his life, God began to move. And the dreams he shared with her, the houses he said he would build for her, he is building them for his new wife who has entered the glory. Your glory will not be transferred, and you will not be unseated in Jesus Name. It is a horrible place to be.
Prayer: Father, please preserve me in the place of my destiny, in Jesus Name. Amen!
