Complete Package

1 Peter 1:^18-20 “For you know that God paid a ransom to save you… It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God. God chose him as your ransom long before the world began, but now in these last days he has been revealed for your sake.”

We will delve deeper into Acts 4:8-12 scripture to explain the concept of Sõzõ further. Acts 4:^8-12 “Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, “Rulers and elders of our people, are we being questioned today because we’ve done a good deed for a crippled man? Do you want to know how he was healed? Let me clearly state to all of you and to all the people of Israel that he was healed by the powerful name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, the man you crucified but whom God raised from the dead. For Jesus is the one referred to in the Scriptures, where it says, ‘The stone that you builders rejected has now become the cornerstone.’ There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.” (emphasis added)

That word healed, how he was made whole is the word “Sõzõ”. The word salvation is the noun form of Sõzõ, the same word. There is Sõzõ, salvation in no one else. God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be Sõzõ, saved. He used the same word for healing, for salvation, for being saved. Remember it was not an altar call, but Peter was saying the man was saved. Peter did not tell the man to give his life to Jesus. But Peter declared the lame man saved. In our own English reading mind, the man is not saved yet but to someone that understands the concept of Sõzõ, the moment the man was whole he was saved.

The moment you gave your life to Jesus, and you were saved, you were healed, delivered, rescued, set free, restored, the full spectrum! It is a complete package! The devil will not cheat you anymore going forward in the Name of Jesus. Conradie, a renowned theologian, I disagree with some of his work, but I respect him. He says, talking about Sõzõ, “It includes inner healing, forgiveness, a rebuilding of broken relationships, reciprocity, renewed fellowship, cosmic harmony, and a return to wholeness. Health is a physical, environmental, psychological, social, moral, and spiritual concept. Healing is inseparable from building community, fellowship, koinonia.” Why do we come to the table and take only the spiritual?

People are struggling with their mental health meanwhile Jesus paid for your mental health and sound mind. Jesus paid for you to have peace of mind and have good relationships. Jesus paid for you to be in a healthy community – physical, environmental, psychological, social, and moral. Jesus paid for you to live above sin. As far as God is concerned, it is together!
