Fresh Start II

‘Satisfy us each morning with your unfailing love, so we may sing for joy to the end of our lives’ Ps.90: 14.

As the day breaks for some of us, our fresh start would be the next level of entrepreneurship. But it is important for you to know that it does not get easier when you run your own business. I encounter a lot of people who are tired of working under someone and want to start their own business. If that is your only motivation, then you might just be looking for another job very quickly. You need to understand that if you were working double time in paid employment, in entrepreneurship you would be working ten times more especially at the teething period because you are everything. You are the cook, the clerk, the cleaner, the accountant, the manager – everything.

For some of us the yesterdays we are holding on to, are the terrible and horrible things we did. And it is keeping us from really pressing into what God has for us. Some have made terrible mistakes, while others have done horrible things. Some have come to God over and over again and they think that by now God must be tired of taking them back. But I have news for you today; ‘the faithful love of the LORD never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning’ Lam.2:22-23. If you will come to Him today, He will cleanse you and accept you. He will empower you not to go back to your yesterday’s again. Just because you have made a mistake doesn’t mean you are a mistake. You are definitely not a mistake. The Bible declares that even when we were still in sin, Jesus loved us and gave His life for us. Salvation is God’s plan of a fresh start for all who will accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. A woman was caught in adultery [John 8:1-11] and everybody wanted to stone her to death. But Jesus showed her mercy and her accusers had to go away in shame. Jesus said to her ‘who are those that have accused you?’ She said ‘they are not here anymore’. Jesus said ‘neither do I accuse you but go and sin no more’. The power to go and sin no more and to stay saved, God will release to you today, in the mighty name of Jesus.

Prayer: Father, I ask in the Name of Jesus that You satisfy [me] each morning with your unfailing love, so [that I] may sing for joy to the end of [my life],in Jesus Name.
