The Beginning
‘Then God said, ‘Let there be light’, and there was light. And God saw that the light was good. Then he separated the light from the darkness’ Gen. 1:3-4.
If you are reading this today and the best way to describe what you have been going through is a dark season. Then rejoice because the evening and night are passing today and the day has arrived. The man by the pool had Jesus the Sun of Righteousness [Mal.4:2] in front of him and his darkness yet, he was still going by logic. People of God, the Sun of Righteousness is before you even now. I know you are educated, perhaps even with a Ph.D., but please just let it go so that God can touch you today. The light that is breaking forth in your life, God will see and the whole world will see that it is good.
The third thing we must know is that when the day breaks, it means the beginning of action. Jesus said to the man ‘get up, it is day’ [translated]. The scenario between Jesus and the man probably took place in the afternoon but for that man his day just broke. Jesus said ‘get up from this bed, take up the bed, and walk’ [translated]. Some of us have been dreaming and dreaming about the great future God has for us. If you were dreaming and you suddenly hear the cockcrow, or the alarm go off, or someone taps you, your dream ends right? So I am saying to you today, the end of dreaming has come and the beginning of fulfillment is here. It is good to dream, but beginning from today, the things that you have seen in your good dreams, God will begin to empower you to bring them to pass. For some the dreams they have been having are bad dreams. But guess what also, the day has broken so the bad dreams are over.
As we go on in 2014, we need to attack each day vigorously. If you are selling cars for example, it means you have to keep knocking on every door. And even before you knock on the door, it will open in Jesus Name. When the morning comes and it is time for action, heaven knows it is time for action. But guess what?- the enemy also knows that it is time for action [2kings 6:15-18]. Do not be afraid! God’s Word will accomplish what He has released it to do in your life.
Prayer: Father, as Your light has separated me from darkness, I will never know darkness again in my life, in Jesus Name.
