The Set Time!

‘Dear woman, that’s not our problem, Jesus replied. My time has not yet come’ John 2:4

The fourth thing you need to know when the day breaks is that it means the set time has come. Let’s assume you wake up at 6am and you set your alarm clock accordingly. When you hear the alarm go off, it means it is daybreak and the set time has come. In the days of old when there were no alarm clocks, the roosters were responsible for announcing daybreak. And as children, when we play games, the cockcrow was the signal for daybreak. I know you are very dignified and great but kindly humor me and do something that is very prophetic. I want you to crow out loud signifying that it is daybreak. It means it is time for sicknesses to go. It is time for every demon afflicting you to go. It is time for every bondage to be broken. It is time for you to get married. It is time for you to have your children. It is time for your walk with God to go to the next level. It is time for you to enter into your abundance in the Mighty Name of Jesus. So say to yourself and to every situation before you – ‘it is time’. What is it that has been bothering you? Call out its name and prophetically crow at it because it is time. And every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted in your life, it is time for it to be rooted up in the Name of Jesus.

Sometimes it appears that the time has not come like in John 2. In fact the One who holds time in the palm of His hands was the One who said that it was not yet time. The mother of Jesus said to Him, ‘they have run out of wine. I have been watching you since you were a child and I know that you are no ordinary child. So do something Jesus’ [translated]. Jesus said ‘woman, my time has not come’. What do you do when God Himself is the One who has told you ‘it is not yet time?’ What do you do when the King of glory Himself says ‘it is not yet time’? It is in cases like this that we see the power of intercession. The power of intercession is in relationship. You are only as powerful as your relationship permits [with men and even with God]. Let’s say you need help from the president of the country. Your neighbor who has no relationship with the president cannot help you get the attention of the president no matter how much he insists on helping out. It is similar with God; relationship matters.

Prayer: Father, I pray that I may know You and the beauty of Your holiness, in Jesus Name.
