You Will Obey!

‘Should people cheat God? Yet you have cheated me! “But you ask, ‘What do you mean? When did we ever cheat you?’ “You have cheated me of the tithes and offerings due to me’ Mal.3:8

Sadly, not every Christian will prosper and I will show you why. ‘…there shall be no poor among you; for the Lord shall greatly bless thee in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee for an inheritance to possess…’ ‘But if there are any poor Israelites… in the land the Lord your God is giving you, do not be hard-hearted or tightfisted toward them’ ‘There will always be some in the land who are poor. That is why I am commanding you to share freely with the poor and with other Israelites in need’ Deut.15:4, 7, & 11 [KJV]. Note that this is the same chapter. God says there will always be the poor in the land but He didn’t put your name there. So why are you claiming poverty so strongly? Some people say to me, ‘the Bible says take care of the poor so please give us some money’. And I wonder why they are claiming poverty so strongly. ‘You will receive this blessing if you are careful to obey all the commands of the Lord your God… The Lord your God will bless you as he has promised. You will lend money many nations but will never need to borrow. You will rule many nations, but they will not rule over you’ Deut.15:5-6. This simply shows that financial prosperity is a choice. God moves from ‘there should not be’ to ‘if there is’ and then to ‘there will always be’. You know why? Some people will refuse to obey God. Do you know that some people are still arguing about tithing till today? A man came to my office and said he wants me to know that he doesn’t believe in tithing. I said that’s good. When he was leaving he asked me why I didn’t argue with him. He said a lot of his Pastor friends will argue with him and he will flaw their argument. I said I don’t need to argue with you. God taught me how to tithe, He will teach you. He asked what I meant. I said when you see devourer no one will teach you how to tithe. A lot of people are struggling financially, in debt, and their finances upside down because check their tithe records – inconsistent! Simple – if you want to be prosperous, you will obey. I have been accused that I do not teach enough on tithing. The truth is people need to learn these things by themselves. Yet this is me saying pay your tithe!

Prayer: Father, teach me to honor You as I ought to, in Jesus Name.
