By Counsel

Mark 5:27-29 “She had heard of this Miracle-Man, Jesus, so she snuck up behind Him in the crowd and reached out her hand to touch His cloak… Even if all I touch are His clothes, I know I will be healed. As soon as her fingers brushed His cloak, the bleeding stopped.” (The Voice)

God wants you to be restored, but you have to touch the hem of His garment. So, get moving! That initiative that God has put in your mind, you have to do it. What if this woman said, “How can this thing be? There are so many people here, and with this issue of blood, I shouldn’t even be around these people. If I touch them and they know, there will be a very serious problem.” Jews can be very legalistic like that, but the Word of God says she pushed through the crowd, meaning that she touched the people and pushed them out of the way. For some people reading this today, God has given you an initiative, but you are giving excuses. “There are people on the way, and if they find out that I came out in my condition, I will be in trouble.”

Listen, you need to push them out of the way and get your miracle. You need to stretch and touch Jesus by faith. It is so powerful! That is why Peter, trying to rebuke Jesus, said in Mark 5:31 “…You see the crowd pressing around you, and yet you say, ‘Who touched me?’” (ESV). In other words, we have all been here touching you, rubbing shoulders, and nothing has been happening. What do you mean someone touched you? Look at this crowd; everybody has been tugging on you. Jesus says virtue left me. So, it means that if all you came to Jesus for is to take a selfie, it is a selfie you will get. If all you come to Jesus for is to just stand beside Him, so that when the camera shows Him, they will know that it is you and Jesus, that is all you will get.

But if you came to Jesus and you mean business, you will be fully restored. In the Name of Jesus, you will be fully restored. Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” (ESV). James 2:17 “So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.” (ESV). Actionable steps are indispensable in the journey to restoration. You need to realize that the Pharisees don’t joke, but in spite of the Pharisees, God will restore you. In spite of Sanballat and Tobiah, God will rebuild you in the Name of Jesus. The Bible says in

Matthew 12:10 “…(They were hoping he would say yes, so they could bring charges against him.)” This was their initial plan, but by the time Jesus mesmerized them and, in spite of them, healed and restored the man. The Bible says in Matthew 12:14 “Then the Pharisees called a meeting to plot how to kill Jesus.” Listen, the Pharisees don’t joke, but the resurrection power will prevail in your case in the Name of Jesus. Regardless, God’s counsel of full restoration is your portion.

Prayer: Father, in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Your counsel of full restoration and complete healing will prevail in my life and in my family. Amen!
