God’s How

So he cried out to the Lord, and the Lord showed him a tree. When he cast it into the waters, the waters were made sweet. There He made a statute and an ordinance for them, and there He tested themEx.15:25 [KJV]

You and I need to stop worrying ourselves about how God will bring things to pass. God will do what only Him can do. So you do what you have to do and let God be God. Now by the grace of God when God sends a word of knowledge, I just say it and watch God bring it to pass. It was not always like that, back in the day I would say it but then struggle to stop my brain from trying to figure out how God is going to do it because guess what that’s not my business. For instance, in one of our services God said there was someone there that had been taking a drug, was dependent on that drug, and He was going to take the person off the drug. So in obedience, I voiced out God’s word. At the end of service I was notified that a lady collapsed and almost died. I said to God “You didn’t say You will kill someone. You said You will take someone off a drug”. Long story short, the lady collapsed and was taken to the hospital. They had to do tests for a proper diagnosis. And they discovered that she had been taking wrong medication. I think they had to do a surgery for her and that was it, she did not need to take medication anymore. She could have been medicating wrongly, lets say for high blood pressure, for the rest of her life and that drug can actually kill her. Meanwhile, that was not the problem. So God said He would take her off the drugs right? If you were to figure out the how, you would probably imagine that an angel will come and just heal her right? Yet God’s how was to knock her down so that she can go to the hospital and they can find our what exactly is wrong with her. Imagine that! God’s ways are not our ways – not at all.

So the so-called trial you might be faced with and you are wondering ‘where is God in all this?’ Guess what, He is in the midst of it. That might just be God’s how to the big picture that He has shown you. Let God sort out how and you focus on trusting God. Never forget that an idea is limited to the potential and resources of the originator. So if it is a man-idea, that idea is limited to the potential and resources of the man that had the idea. If it is a God-idea, that idea is limited to the potential and the resources of the God that gave the idea.
