Love And Share!

“Teacher, which is the most important commandment in the law of Moses?” Matt.27:36

What must you and I do to put our relationships with God intact? “Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.” Matt.22:37-40. In other words, the only way to put your relationship with God intact is to love God and share God. Love Him and share Him; that is the summary! Jesus says these two things are most important, love God and share God. The reality is you cannot share what you do not have. If your relationship with God is faulty, your relationship with men will be faulty. People who have issues with God get cranky at everyone. Love Jesus and share Jesus! Loving Jesus means spending time with Him. Block out a time to just be with God. If you love someone, you will spend time with that person and that is the heart behind having a quiet time; to spend time with the Father, the Word [Jesus], and the Holy Spirit. Take time out from your busy day and just honour God by being quiet in His Presence. “Then she knelt behind him at his feet, weeping. Her tears fell on his feet, and she wiped them off with her hair. Then she kept kissing his feet and putting perfume on them… Then he turned to the woman and said to Simon, “Look at this woman kneeling here. When I entered your home, you didn’t offer me water to wash the dust from my feet, but she has washed them with her tears and wiped them with her hair. You didn’t greet me with a kiss, but from the time I first came in, she has not stopped kissing my feet. You neglected the courtesy of olive oil to anoint my head, but she has anointed my feet with rare perfume” Luke 7:38, 44-46. From this story we can discern what God expects from us. God expects you to give Him your precious time. Lavish your affection on God.

 Love Me then share My love; Let your relationship with men be a direct reflection of your relationship with God. People should see how you treat them and need your God. God says if you cannot love a man that you can see, how can you love a God that you cannot see? What do I do with Jesus, I deliberately love Him and deliberately love men; you cannot love someone subconsciously. Consistently maintain your altar and consistently fellowship with God – relationship intact!

Prayer: Holy Spirit, help me love Jesus and share Jesus. Help me consistently maintain fellowship with the Father and love His people, in Jesus Name.
