Re-Position

“Then he asked me, “Son of man, can these bones become living people again?” Eze.37:3

To unleash the Power of the Holy Spirit, to unleash the Spirit of God in our favour, there are two things that you and I must do.

#1. Align With God.  To unleash the Power of the Holy Spirit in your favor, you need to align with God. You have your own ideas; agreed. Some people even have their own idea of how God should be God. They look at how the whole world is and say, God, if I were God I can do a better job. Arrogance! You think you are better than God? Align with God, that is the first thing you need to do. And I will show you in Scripture.

God said to Ezekiel, “Son of man, can these bones become living people again?” Eze.37:3. It is easy to gloss over this question and miss the depth of it. But if you look at this portion of Scripture well, you will realize that it is a question of alignment. God already knew that the bones could live, right? So why was God asking Ezekiel if the bones could live? He was asking Ezekiel because He wanted to check if Ezekiel was aligned with Him on this issue.

Many times, we do not see the Power of God because we are not aligned with God. What are the dead, dry bones in your life or in your health? God is saying, my child can these dry bones live? He is not asking you to tell Him if you can be healed. He is just saying, are we aligned on this matter? In your business, or your marriage, or your career, or in your finances, things look like a dry bone situation. In fact, you may have almost given up on it or settled that this is your cross. God is saying my child can these bones live?

Until you get past that, there is no moving from death to life. The point is this; we all need to confront that situation. That is where we need to wrestle today; can these bones live? There are things that you have  accepted as the norm. You have embraced them and settled in to manage those things for the rest of your life. But God is asking you today, can these bones live? Your response determines what will happen next. Can these bones live?
