Experiencing Glory

‘Jesus responded, didn’t I tell you that you would see God’s glory if you believe?’ John 11:40

Another reason why there are still people missing out on opportunities for the miraculous after healing and breakthrough services is unbelief. Unbelief is a major reason for lack of results. It might be hard to imagine especially since we know that God Himself says that ‘anyone who wants to come to Him must believe that God exists and that He rewards those who sincerely seek Him’. Yet there are people who still do not believe God. It’s easy to look at Abraham and admire his many blessings but also pay attention to the fact that Abraham could not afford to toy with unbelief. When God says harvest, you still find people who question the possibility given the reality of the times we live in. Are you wiser than God? Do not use your mind to reason away the miraculous God has planned for you. Unbelief is a major leak. ‘…Jesus answered, this happened so the power of God could be seen in himJohn9:3b. The disciples asked Jesus if the reason the man was blind was because of the sins of his father or mother. A number of times when things do not go the way we imagine then we look for someone else to blame. It must be as a result of the sins of our fathers or fore fathers. However God is saying it has nothing to do with that. The current situation is by the sovereign will of God; so that the work of God can be manifest.  You are going through what you are going through because the glory of God must  be manifested. You need to understand that and believe God. ‘But despite all the miraculous signs Jesus had done, most of the people still did not believe in Him’ John12:37. There is a connection between the powerful hand of God and the miracle you desire and that connection is faith. ‘Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us the assurance about things we cannot seeHeb.11:1. Flush out unbelief, it is only through faith that you can experience glory.

Prayer: Lord, I pray that I would not use my head to reason away my miracle. Holy Spirit, work in me and grow my roots in faith so that I will experience glory, in Jesus Name.

  1. Faith comes by hearing and hearing of the word of God. You cannot believe what you do not know; the place of the word is key to building faith and experiencing the glory of God. The closer you draw to God, the more of his glory you experience.

  2. Lately I’m learning to just talk to God instead of worrying about what the perfect prayer should be.
