Haggai 2: 7”…I will fill this place with glory, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies… 8 The silver is mine, and the gold is mine… 9 The future glory of this Temple will be greater than its past glory… And in this place I will bring peace. I, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, have spoken!”
You are welcome into God’s amazing Presence today. Thank you for setting every other thing aside and choosing to prioritize God. I pray that because you have come, God Himself will breathe upon you afresh. I pray that God will do in your life that which eyes have not seen, that which ears have not heard, that which has not even began to enter into the heart of men. I pray also that God will give you the ability to hear what His Spirit, the Holy Spirit, is saying to you and the Name of Jesus will be glorified.
The future glory of your life will be greater than your past glory. I know you heard this yesterday but the beauty about God’s Word is that the more you get into it, the more it gets into you and the more you get out of it. I know you must have seen good days in the past. You must have experienced great wealth in the past. You must have enjoyed marital bliss in the past. You must have known the joy of obedient children in the past. You must have experienced great health in the past. But thus says the Lord, “the future of your life shall be greater than the past and He will give you peace” in the Name of Jesus. Do you receive it?
When God says, “I have spoken”, it is the highest level of assurance you can get in this world and beyond. No economy can refuse that Word; no extent of resistance can destroy that Word. Heaven and earth will pass away but God’s Word will come to pass.
I do not know what you are going through or what is attempting to squeeze joy out of you. I cannot even say that I know what you are feeling or I have experienced anything close to what you may be going through. But God’s Word to you this day is, the future of your destiny is greater than the past. God is not saying this just to make you feel good; it will surely come to pass. Guess what? This promise is not based on something you did right or something you will get wrong. This promise is based on Him and His heart towards you. These Words are Spirit and they are life – completely dependable. Again I say, God will fill your life with glory and the future glory of this Temple will be greater than its past glory.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, let it happen to me just as You have promised, in Jesus Name. Amen!
