The Helper!

When you think long-term, you do not really worry, and you are not hopeless. Instead, you are filled with hope. So, you need to focus on long-term benefits and not on short-term inconveniences.
The Long Game
Philippians 3:13-14 “No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.”

Child Of God!

Remember
Colossians 2:13-14 “You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. He cancelled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross.”

Yesterday, we looked at five weapons of self-destruction (W.S.D.) – Shame, Uncontrolled Thoughts, Compulsions, Fear, and Hopelessness.The sixth weapon of self-destruction is Bitterness. Bitterness is so effective against a lot of believers.
Surrender
Galatians 5:17-18 “The sinful self wants what is against the Spirit, and the Spirit wants what is against the sinful self. They are always fighting against each other, so that you don’t do what you really want to do. But if you let the Spirit lead you, you are not under law.” (ERV)
