Perfect Peace
1 Peter 5:7 “Let him have all your worries and cares, for he is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you.” (LB).
The Word of God says, give all your worries to God. Take your worry list to God. When you are worried, do not repress it, do not suppress it, just express it to God. Philippians 4:6-7 “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank him for his answers. If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ Jesus.” (LB). Read the rest of this entry
Let Him
Matthew 6:32-33 “So don’t worry at all about having enough food and clothing… your heavenly Father already knows perfectly well that you need them, and he will give them to you if you give him first place in your life and live as he wants you to.” (LB).
How do I let Jesus meet my needs? Number one, I Ask Him To Be My Shepherd every day. Number two, I make Him priority. I Give Him First Place In Every Area Of My Life, and I live as He wants me to. Our Shepherd already knows perfectly well what we need. He knows our physical needs. Read the rest of this entry
Ask Him & Give Him
John 10:14-15 “I am the good shepherd; I know my own sheep, and they know me, just as my Father knows me and I know the Father. So I sacrifice my life for the sheep.”
Do you know Him? If you do not, I pray that today you will know Him. Jesus is a shepherd that cares for His sheep in such a way that He lays His life down. Every day when I wake up, I hit the floor and I say a few things to the Lord. I hope you do this. Read the rest of this entry
Ask Him
Psalm 16:5 “The Lord is my chosen and assigned portion, my cup; You hold and maintain my lot.” (AMPC).
You need to realize that God is the most secure place you can be and the most secure place you can have even at this time. If you are going to put your security in anything at all, you should put it not only in something that cannot be taken away from you. And you should put in something that is limitless. Source Principle
Psalm 43:4 “There I will go to the altar of God, to God—the source of all my joy. I will praise you with my harp, O God, my God!”
How do I trust God to meet my needs? This is a legitimate question, particularly at this time when the world is going through huge challenges and still recovering from the effects of the COVID 19 pandemic. Different economic challenges have followed due to the pandemic, Read the rest of this entry
Not Alone
2 Corinthians 4:15 “For all [these] things are [taking place] for your sake, so that the more grace (divine favour and spiritual blessing) extends to more and more people and multiplies through the many, the more thanksgiving may increase [and redound] to the glory of God.” (AMPC)
2 Corinthians 11:24-28 “Five different times the Jewish leaders gave me thirty-nine lashes. Three times I was beaten with rods. Once I was stoned. Three times I was shipwrecked. Once I spent a whole night and a day adrift at sea. I have travelled on many long journeys. I have faced danger from rivers and from robbers. I have faced danger from my own people, the Jews, as well as from the Gentiles. I have faced danger in the cities, in the deserts, and on the seas. And I have faced danger from men who claim to be believers but are not. I have worked hard and long, enduring many sleepless nights. I have been hungry and thirsty and have often gone without food. I have shivered in the cold, without enough clothing to keep me warm. Then, besides all this, I have the daily burden of my concern for all the churches.” Read the rest of this entry
Fixed Gaze
Acts 3:19 “So repent [change your inner self—your old way of thinking, regret past sins] and return [to God—seek His purpose for your life] … so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord [restoring you like a cool wind on a hot day]”
The Message Translation puts it this way, “Now it’s time to change your ways! Turn to face God so he can wipe away your sins, pour out showers of blessing to refresh you”. Paul says to defeat discouragement, we need to be deliberate about taking time for renewal. Read the rest of this entry
Get Renewal
Isaiah 40:31 “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. (LB)

Benefits
2 Corinthians 4:7 “We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves.” (emphasis added).
The truth is, we have been dropped and we have cracks. This fragile clay actually has cracks. But the beauty is that those cracks are needed so that the treasure in us can come out. Those cracks are needed so that the light can come out. Great power blesses the world through our brokenness. Read the rest of this entry
Remember & Relax
2 Corinthians 12:10 “…I take limitations in stride, and with good cheer, these limitations that cut me down to size—abuse, accidents, opposition, bad breaks. I just let Christ take over! And so the weaker I get, the stronger I become.” (MSG)
You are empowered to defeat discouragement when you Never Forget How Much God Loves You, when you Do Not Fake It, and when you Remember It Is Not About You. When someone praised me, I look up because it is not about me. It is about Him. Read the rest of this entry
