Solid Rock

‘The conies are but a feeble folk, yet make they their houses in the rocks’ Prov.30:26 [KJV]

Where there is no vision, the people perish…Prov.29:18. In God’s Favourite House, our vision is ‘to be filled with the life of Christ, released into our destinies, and taking the world for Him’. This means as a Church we are constantly striving to be all that God has called us to be. To be just like Jesus, living out God’s plan and passionately leading others to Jesus. It is all about Jesus, He is the Solid Rock on which we have hinged our tomorrows. To be filled with the life of Christ Jesus is to have our lives built on Him. ‘And the rain Read the rest of this entry

Why Fast: Part 4

‘Then I pray to you, O LORD. I say, “You are my place of refuge. You are all I really want in life’ Psalm 142:5.

Building a Refuge: When you fast, you are building a refuge around yourself. The best time to build a refuge is when there is peace. Fasting [building a refuge] is being proactive; it is like saving for the rainy day. Fasting increases spiritual activity. ‘For the angel of the LORD is a guard; he surrounds and defends all who fear HimPs.34:7. When you engage in fasting you build a wall of protection around your life, career, family, destiny and even your future. ‘The LORD is close to all who call on Him, yes, to all who call on Him in Read the rest of this entry

Direction

‘I have observed something else under the sun. The fastest runner doesn’t always win the race… It is all decided by chance, by being in the right place at the right time’ Ecc.9:11

‘…being in the right place at the right time’. The Way is the most crucial part of acceleration. It would be futile to pride yourself as the fastest runner whereas in every race, you accelerate in the opposite direction, away from the finish line. What is the point of accelerating when you are heading in the wrong direction? ‘You may think you are on the right road and still end up dead’ Prov.14:12 [CEV]. Increased speed in the Read the rest of this entry

Accelerated Second Coming

‘For the Lord Himself will come down from Heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the Christians who have diedwill rise from their graves’. 1Thes.4:16

Basically, acceleration means to increase in speed and velocity. To accelerate means to make haste; to make rapid progress. Acceleration is when someone or something is moving faster than the normal speed. Acceleration will cause you to experience rapid progress in an area where previously you had been stagnated. God’s word for you this day is Acceleration. Acceleration in your spiritual life, finances, marriage, business, Read the rest of this entry

Experiencing His Hand

‘But the Lord said, “Go, for Saul is my chosen instrument to take my message to the Gentiles and to kings, as well as to the people of Israel’ Acts 9:15.

‘The Hand of God’, is a term people loosely use to describe the Power of God. When God’s hand is upon any situation, the game is sure to change. When you seek His Hand you get access to His power. For centuries man has sought the Hand of God for various reasons. The power of God doesn’t change us; it is His presence that changes us. That is why it is possible for people to experience God’s power perhaps in healing and still Read the rest of this entry

Experiencing Glory

‘Jesus responded, didn’t I tell you that you would see God’s glory if you believe?’ John 11:40

Another reason why there are still people missing out on opportunities for the miraculous after healing and breakthrough services is unbelief. Unbelief is a major reason for lack of results. It might be hard to imagine especially since we know that God Himself says that ‘anyone who wants to come to Him must believe that God exists and that He rewards those who sincerely seek Him’. Yet there are people who still do not believe God. It’s easy to look at Abraham and Read the rest of this entry

Keynote To Germination III

‘The seeds of good deeds become a tree of life; a wise person wins friends’ Prov.11:30

Key note to germination number six is put your trust in Jesus. That sounds simplistic but it actually isn’t. ‘But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidenceJer.17:7. Your leaves will remain green and you will never stop producing fruit in the Name of Jesus. Your trust is like an anchor, it keeps you rooted to God. The converse is a dangerous place to be but that is not your portion. When you trust Jesus, your spiritual roots Read the rest of this entry

Germinate In Christ

‘My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me’ Gal.2:20

The second step in growing spiritual roots is to germinate in Christ. Allow yourself to die in Christ. Allow the old man to die in Christ ‘My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me’. [2 Cor.5:17]. Allow the germination to take place because it is not every seed that is planted that germinates. The parable of the sower: the first Read the rest of this entry

Seven

‘On the seventh day God had finished His work of creation, so He rested from all His work’ Gen 2:2

Seven is the number for perfection. God did all the work of creation within six days and on the seventh day He rested. In a sense, at creation, God also spoke seven words.  The seven words that called forth land, sea, living creatures, plants, lights, man and rest. Jesus, God the Son, spoke seven words in His final moments to bring to perfection everything that is lacking in our lives and to bring us into His rest. Take Christ’s seven words on the cross and let them Read the rest of this entry

Remember Me

‘This is My body, which is given for you. Do this to Remember Me…, This cup is the new covenant between God and His people—an agreement confirmed with my blood. Do this to Remember Me as often as you drink it’ 1 Cor.11: 24-25

Did you ever relish the delightful experience of the toy Lego? The joy you get when you put the pieces together; when you break up the pieces and embark on a new shape forming adventure. Awesome! Looking at Lego, you can almost guess that its inventors intended to teach us from a very young age the importance of putting things together, the importance of building and the Read the rest of this entry
