How It Works

1 Corinthians 4:2 “Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful.” (NIV, emphasis added).

God Uses Your Talent To Test Your Unselfishness. This is a dimension of faithfulness that a lot of people do not pay attention to. God will use the talents and resources He has given you physical, spiritual, financial, and giftedness to test how you serve people, and how unselfish you are. Read the rest of this entry

The Tests

Matthew 20:28 “For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

I love the apprenticeship system. There is a part of Nigeria that uses the apprenticeship system a lot. I think it is still the best way of grooming leaders and of starting businesses. Before you get your freedom from the apprenticeship system, you must have a master and serve that leader. Read the rest of this entry

Principle Of Life

Luke 16:10-12 “Jesus went on to make these comments: If you’re honest in small things, you’ll be honest in big things; If you’re a crook in small things, you’ll be a crook in big things. If you’re not honest in small jobs, who will put you in charge of the store?” (MSG)

The small things that nobody sees are what determine the big things that everybody wants. Luke 16:12 And if you have not been faithful with what belongs to someone else, who will give you what belongs to you?” (GNT). Read the rest of this entry

In Little

Revelation 3:8 “I know what you do; I know that you have a little power; you have followed my teaching and have been faithful to me. I have opened a door in front of you, which no one can close.” (GNT, emphasis added).

We began to look at faithfulness yesterday and the first thing about faithfulness is that God Is Looking For Faithful People. Do you know God’s location? It is always easier for God to find you because He knows your location. Read the rest of this entry

Faithful

Luke 18:8 “…But when the Son of Man returns, how many will he find on the earth who have faith?”

It is all about your faith. And in today’s anchor scripture, Jesus says when He returns will He find people who have faith, or will people have given up on God? Read the rest of this entry

Your Faith

1 Timothy 6:12 “Fight the good fight for the true faith. Hold tightly to the eternal life to which God has called you, which you have declared so well before many witnesses.”

Over the next few days, we are going to be looking at being faithful in a faithless world. The invisible war is all about your faith. The internal battles you face are all about your faith. Faith is the key to victory on all three fronts—satan, the world, and self. Read the rest of this entry

Shalom, Shalom!

Romans 8:31-32 “What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else?” (emphasis added).

The Helper!

Romans 8:27-28 “He knows us far better than we know ourselves, knows our pregnant condition, and keeps us present before God. That’s why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good.” (MSG)

When you think long-term, you do not really worry, and you are not hopeless. Instead, you are filled with hope. So, you need to focus on long-term benefits and not on short-term inconveniences.

The Long Game

Philippians 3:13-14 “No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.”

Child Of God!

Galatians 4:6 “And because we are his children, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, prompting us to call out, “Abba, Father.”

Do not be afraid. When you are afraid, remember whose family you are in and call out to your Abba. Remember Peter, he was walking on water and Jesus was there on the water. When Peter began to sink, what did he do? He shouted, Daddy! Jesus! Help me. Read the rest of this entry
