Colossians 2:14-16 “He cancelled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross. In this way, he disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross. So don’t let anyone condemn you…”

Hebrews 12:2 “Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we’re in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever…” (MSG)
Jesus surrendered His life for you and I! He gave His life for you and me, He voluntarily gave up His spirit. You do not give up what is taken from you. Three Things
John 19:28&30 “Jesus knew that his mission was now finished, and to fulfill Scripture he said, “I am thirsty.” …When Jesus had tasted it, he said, “It is finished!” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. (emphasis added).
Three things stand out from this scripture. Number one is Jesus said, “It is finished!”. Jesus did not say I am finished. Grow & Contribute
Hebrews 5:12 “By now you should be teachers. Instead, you still need someone to teach you…!” (GW, emphasis added).
You can grow old, without growing up. There are a lot of people who have grown old, but they have not grown up. They are saved, but they are shallow.
