The key to Personal Harmony

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in Thee. Isaiah.26:3[KJV]

You will keep in perfect peace ALL who trust in You, ALL whose thoughts are fixed on You! Isa.26:3 [NLT]. The only route to perfect peace is God. You cannot put your trust in the wealth of your hands [wealth which God has permitted] and expect perfect peace. Trust is a deeper level of faith; regardless of what you can see, you believe beyond any doubt that God has already come through on your behalf.  The fact that you can afford anything you want does not mean you should buy it. If you have not learnt that lesson yet, God may have to take you through the school of seeing what you like and not being able to afford it. So you can build your trust and dependence in God alone by the help of the Holy Spirit. When God sees that you have learnt this lesson then you will graduate from that school. He then promotes you to a place where you see what you like and you can afford it but He is saying do not buy it and at the same time He is watching what you will do. When you pass, He moves you to a higher level where based on your faithfulness in the past, He endows you with much more. Relying on one’s self will only lead to disharmony because no one is self-sufficient – No one. God alone is the Source of all that is seen and unseen and it is only in Him that you can experience harmony. Keep watch over your heart lest arrogance and the wrong kind of independence creep in unannounced. Ask yourself what the justification is for every purchase you intend to make. After dealing with fear, lack of contentment, approval addiction, stress, sin, worry, and doubt; the next thing is to anchor your trust in God. Where do you put your trust and who do you trust for that need or open door. That is what will determine whether you have turmoil or harmony, confusion or perfect peace.

Prayer [song]: ‘Father, on Christ the Solid Rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand’. ‘Lord, to you alone may my spirit yield’.

  1. I went through that school of the Holy Spirit and it was not an easy education… Keeping ones eyes on God alone is wisdom. Its all in His hands, every treasure the earth possesses. But God prefers your heart that hungers and thirsts for Him first.
