You Are Worth More

‘It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God’ 1 Peter.1:19

The value of something is determined by what people are willing to pay for it. What are you worth? You are worth more than you can imagine or understand but God gives you a clue of what you are worth. ‘For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors. And the ransom He paid was not mere gold or silver’ 1 Pet.1:18. More than all the wealth the world can muscle. You are worth the life of the only Son of God. Take some time to allow that sink in. Our worth in the eyes of God Almighty is the Blood of Jesus. Yes Jesus died for all but guess what? He had you on His mind that day. God paid a price well above and beyond just to show us how much worth we have in His eyes. He paid the ‘…the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God’ 1 Peter.1:19. God handpicked you and I for redemption and then He decided that the only price good enough, complete enough, long lasting enough is the Blood of Jesus. So the Father had a meeting the Spirit and the Word. ‘And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us…’ John 1:14a. ‘For God loved [you] so much that He gave His one and only Son…’ John3:16a. He gave Him up to show you that no one can love you like He does. To set you free ‘So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free’ John8:36. How can you be worth so much to God and act so cheap? The body that the Blood paid for is what you are exchanging for money and material gain. Stop settling for less than your worth. Your worth is not determined by your physical appearance. The abuse you experienced in the past cannot change your worth in God’s eyes. God cannot lie about anything and He is certainly not lying about your worth. God says you are His perfect work of art and He gave His Son to prove it [Eph.2:10]. Not even the scars on you can change that. Nothing can separate you from His love [Rom.8: 38-39]. Shut out any voice that tries to tell you otherwise. You are worth so much more.

Prayer: I am God’s masterpiece. He has created Me anew in Christ Jesus, so I can do the good things He planned for Me long ago. Lord, help me live in the consciousness of this truth every day of my life, in Jesus Name.
