Be Aware II

‘…He was a murderer from the beginning. He has always hated the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, it is consistent with his character; for he is a liar and the father of lies’ John 8:44.

The second thing you need to know is that satan and his demons hate you. I know they hate me. Do you know why they hate you? It is because you are a human being and you are made in the image of God. You don’t have to do anything to upset them just because you are a creation of God made in His image, they hate you. In fact John 10:10 says they have only one objective to steal, to kill, and to destroy – there is nothing else. It is a three-fold mandate – to steal, to kill, and to destroy. So don’t even think that satan can be appeased. The enemy cannot be appeased, he will only ask for more blood because before you were born the hatred existed – enmity with God. And because he is looking at you and you are reminding him of the creator, he cannot like you. So you must operate in the knowledge of this. When I get the opportunity to speak with people about spiritual warfare I often say to them you must know that satan hates you with a passion. Left to him you should be dead by now but you can see that it is not left to him. So when someone hates you and there are things that you are doing that is giving the person power over your life, is that not foolishness? If somebody hates you and there are certain things that if you continue to do them that person will have power over you, why should you continue to do them? It is not wise. So say out loud, the devil hates me and I hate him too!

Thirdly, the devil is a lair. When he is lying he is speaking his natural tongue Jesus says [John 8:44]. The devil is a lair. Never rely on information from the devil because the devil is a lair. I often wonder why people who conduct deliverances spend time questioning the demons that are manifesting. The devil is a lair, the demon is not going to tell you the truth about anything and certainly not about how many of them have possessed the person. The demon will probably say two even though they are twenty in the person. Except of course God leads you to do that but otherwise that should not be your modus operandi because the devil is a lair.

Prayer: Father, help me know and speak Your truth in every situation. Thank You Lord for making me in Your image and likeness, in Jesus Name.
