Be Aware V

‘But for twenty-one days the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia blocked my way. Then Michael, one of the archangels, came to help me, and I left him there with the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia’ Dan.10:13

You need to know what satan and his demons try to do. Firstly, demons influence the leaders of nations because they know that if they can negatively influence the leadership of a nation, they will affect many more people. ‘For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places’ Eph.6:12 [KJV]. This is why as the church we have to influence leaders of nations because influencing the leaders means affecting many more people. Yes, you have to feed the poor, take care of the orphans but if you can effectively influence the leaders of the nations, the poor and the orphans will be taken care of. So we need to focus our energy where we have the greatest impact. Demons do that. Daniel 10 speaks about the prince of the Persian kingdom but still there was a demon that was assigned over the Persian kingdom. So even though there was a physical prince there was also a demon prince operating in the spiritual over the Persian kingdom. And when Daniel prayed, the demon was able to withstand the answer from passing over the Persian territory and there had to be war. You cannot negotiate with the devil. You must enforce your victory in every situation. Which is why I really get excited when people gather to pray.

Secondly, satan and his demons desire to inflict suffering on you. ‘Lord, have mercy on my son. He has seizures and suffers terribly. He often falls into the fire or into the water. Jesus said, “You faithless and corrupt people! How long must I be with you? How long must I put up with you? Bring the boy here to me.” Then Jesus rebuked the demon in the boy, and it left him. From that moment the boy was well’ Matt.17:15,17 &18. Here satan and demons were afflicting the boy. But Jesus rebuked the demon, the demon left the boy, and he was well. Everywhere you have been afflicted, today you are going to rebuke the demons and you will have peace in the Name of Jesus.
