Consider Your Ways!

‘…and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes. Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Consider your ways.’ Hag.1:6-7.

The fourth way you can relate with money is Lose Money. I am praying that you will not lose money in Jesus Name. I am praying for everyone that has lost money, God will restore you in Jesus Name. Losing money can be terrible and for some people it has become a perpetual trend in their lives. They can see what God has blessed them with record wise but they cannot see it tangibly. It is as though they are working and putting the money in a bag with holes. ‘…and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes. Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Consider your ways.’ Hag.1:6-7. When it appears that you are putting money in a bag with holes, God is saying, consider your ways. Check your life! Sometimes we lose money based on bad decisions – shallow thinking. But sometimes it is purely spiritual. It can be a devourer; it can be a devourer from the enemy or from the Lord. Some people have like a leach attached to them that keeps sucking them and I am praying today in the Name of Jesus that God will remove that leach from your life.

Take spiritual things seriously and everything that has led to a loss in your life will loose its grip over you. The Judge of the whole earth will rule in our favour. Whichever way the devourer is coming from, God says pay your tithe and He will rebuke the devourers for your sake. Isn’t that a good deal? You cannot rebuke the devourer by yourself. I have colleagues, Pastors, who will not teach about tithing because they don’t want their flock to think they are just after money. How foolish is that!- because you are not helping them at all. A man came to my office to tell me how much money he has. In fact, he collects wristwatches of over $200,000. He said he doesn’t tithe and I didn’t ask why. Perhaps he told me about his money so that it pushes me to talk to him about tithing. All I said was God would teach him because God taught me. When devourer started dealing with him, it was a terrible thing. There are certain things you don’t teach people one on one. I will teach you like this but I will not chase you one on one to pay your tithe. A word is enough for the wise.

Prayer: Father, I ask for wisdom to always honor You with my tithe, in Jesus Name.
