In God’s Hands

me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me’ Gal.2:20

Jesus said to Pilate, ‘there is nothing you can do to me except heaven permits you’. So for all the harassment you are getting, all the fear the enemy is pumping into your heart, you can tell the enemy to go to hell. Your life is in God’s hands. Declare it out loud ‘my life is not in any body’s hands. My life is in God’s hands’. They took Jesus and they humiliated him. They spat on His face and they killed Him. Some said, ‘look at the one that said he will raise the temple in three days, come down and save yourself’. And there was silence. The disciples were afraid and everybody went to hide. The Jews said, ‘this crazy man says he will rise again on the third day so please deploy a band of soldiers to guard the grave so that his disciples won’t come and steal him at night’ [translated]. So a band of soldiers went to guard the tomb where Jesus was buried. But on the third day, the Bible says that Jesus rose up from the dead and the angels rolled away the stone. The soldiers went into a dead faint and Jesus walked out of the grave free. Think about it, Jesus had defeated death. He went to the grave took the powers and the keys of death. Jesus could have walked out of that tomb without the angels rolling away the stone. When He visited the disciples after He resurrected, Jesus walked through the wall right? He could have just walked through the wall. Why did He have to roll away the stone? He probably wanted to harass His accusers a little bit. He did not need to do that but He did it anyway. And Jesus walked out alive and resurrected. And again God demonstrated to us and to the world that there is nothing anyone can do against His counsel. God’s counsel will stand. Good news for you again; regardless of the pressure to keep you bound, you will resurrect. This Easter season, I want you to just open your heart to God and you will come out of every pressure. The resurrection was God’s way of demonstrating that He is God by Himself and His counsel will stand. For the first three hundred years of the existence of the early church, the church faced heavy persecution. But the question is, today, where are all the empires that persecuted the church? They are all gone but the church is still standing. God’s counsel concerning you will stand.

Prayer [song]: Your Name is higher above all other names. Your Name is Jesus, Your Name is Lord (2x). Amen!
