All Consuming Passion

‘The eyes of the Lord search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him…’ 2Chr.16:9

I like to be very dramatic with my adoration of Jesus. I believe that God delights in my larger than life actions. He will say to the angels, ‘As soon as he wakes up, watch what he is going to do. And as soon as I wake up, I just somersault from my bed, fall face down on the ground and I say “Kaaabiesi o!” [a Yoruba word meaning unquestionable]. The first time I started doing it, I was going to roll and fall off the bed. But my wife noticed and she caught me. I said ‘wait’, so I rolled and landed on the floor. Then I said to the Lord, ‘here I am before Your throne, just showing up and loving You’. Just show up and love God. It is not every time you show up before Him with ten thousand prayer requests. Just sum up some days or even a whole week just to say, ‘Jesus, I love You’.

And God’s Word has given us the expo, how to position our lives to attract God’s favour. It is those whose hearts are totally loyal to Him, those who please Him, those whose all consuming passion is to please Him. Some people are looking for miracles, looking for God, looking for anointing, and looking for breakthrough everywhere. If Mr. A is looking for God and God is looking for Mr. B, who will find God first? God is looking for those whose all consuming passion will be Him. ‘When a man’s ways please the Lord,
He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him’ Prov.16:7 [NKJV]. The Bible did not say that He is going to make his enemies to be his friends. They will still be his enemies but He will force his enemies to bow to him. They think they can do without you but God will make sure that that thing they need would be inside your pocket. So when they have perambulated, they will realize that they need to come and beg you. That is how God does His stuff. Did God not make Joseph’s brothers to be at peace with him? How did they come to be at peace with him? Joseph had their bread in his pocket. I pray everybody receives this.
