You Don’t Lose

How foolish can you be? After starting your Christian lives in the Spirit, why are you now trying to become perfect by your own human effort?” Gal.3:3.

“Oh, foolish Galatians! Who has cast an evil spell on you? For the meaning of Jesus Christ’s death was made as clear to you as if you had seen a picture of his death on the cross” Gal.3:1. When we take our eyes off Jesus, when He ceases to be enough for us, we’ll find ourselves going back to the things He delivered us from. The Bible says ye are gods, so let us live like gods. We’ve been taught the truth and we know it; it is time for us to live it. “So you have everything when you have Christ, and you are filled with God through your union with Christ. He is the highest Ruler, with authority over every other power” Col.2:10 [TLB]. Even Jesus said it in the Gospel, “…anyone who gives up his home, brothers, sisters, father, mother, wife, children, or property, to follow me, shall receive a hundred times as much in return, and shall have eternal lifeMatt.19:29 [TLB]. So you don’t lose – you do not lose! Your life should be so full of the sufficiency of Christ that when the people in the world look at you, they would want to take hold of your garment and say, ‘lead us to the God you’re serving because Jesus truly is enough’. For someone trusting God for the fruit of the womb, I have experienced my fair share of that but I will share the story of someone that’s very close to me. She was trusting God for the fruit of the womb and she used to go for many deliverance programs, fruit of the womb programs, and prayer programs. I would say she was a Christian then but I am not sure about now. She was a Christian and she was constantly being pressurized and intimidated by her family, friends, and sometimes by herself. She was constantly comparing herself to couples who had gotten married before her and now had children. So her father started whispering to her to also try a witch doctor and she went. The concoctions they gave her complicated her life even more because she was now looking for the fruit of the womb and dealing with medical issues. The devil does not trade fair. If you give him a foothold, he will take much more.

Who determines when your blessing comes and how it comes? God alone! Yes there are seasons but who brings the seasons? Can you go outside and change the weather? It is God that controls everything. We can pray for a favorable season, we can key into a favorable season, but it is still God that makes all things perfect in His time. So you have to stay in the place of being with God and let His appointed time come. Stay with God so that you will not be found wanting. So wait!

Prayer: Lord, help me not to delay the things You are doing with my own hands. Teach me to wait on You and not rely on the wisdom of men including my own, in Jesus Name.
