The Solution

“Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do” Josh.1:8.

Spend time with the Bible, studying the Word and cultivating the Presence of God. It is that Presence of God that will protect and shield you. Then you too would say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress and my God in whom I trust. A thousand may fall at my left and ten thousand at my right but it shall not come near me. Only with my eyes will I behold and see the reward of the wicked. He will give His angels charge over me. And because that Word is in me and has formed a shield around me, I can sleep without harassment. Some of us have watched movies where someone being harassed by a demon spirit opened the Bible and power went forth like a light. And you say to yourself, “it looks like there might actually be power in it” and so you also start carrying the Bible around. Don’t let what you see in the home videos deceive you. Yes the Bible has power but God wants you to put that Bible inside you.

You and I should be the walking Word of God because God wants us to succeed. But how does He intend for us to achieve this? He says to you and I, study this Book of Instruction continually. The Bible is life’s instruction manual. So whatever I face in life I can get the solution from the Bible. So if you are having marital challenges, you can get your solution in the Bible. If you are having financial challenges, the solution you seek is in the Bible. Do you have emotional challenges or are you struggling with fear? Your rest is in the Word of God. The Bible has the answer to every issue of life. And God is saying for you to be successful in this life, He has given you this manual. Do not just put it under your pillow. Study it! Studying is deeper than reading. Reading is just going over the text, while studying is getting behind the text. Studying is seeking to understand, underlining, asking questions as you go along. Which will lead you to dig into the before and after of each portion you are studying. Sometimes it will translate to reading a whole Book of the Bible just to understand one passage. God wants you and I to study the Bible. “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” 2Tim.2:15^.. In your life there are things that are going to come against you, against your finances, against your career, against your destiny that will be asking questions of you. And the answers to those questions are in the Bible. So you need to have studied the Bible to give the answer in response.

Prayer: Holy Spirit, give me renewed hunger for God’s Word and as I study, Lord open my eyes to the secret and beautiful things in Your Word, in Jesus Name.
