By Faith

“And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him” Heb.11:6

The Bible is a Book of faith and for the next few days we will be learning from the portion we can call the passage of faith because it is most dedicated to faith. Please read and study Hebrews 11:1-40. The Lord bless you with understanding as you read His Word.

Faith is very inspiring and very challenging. In fact, we cannot do without faith. Everything that you see came to being because of faith, either God’s faith or someone else’s faith. The shirt you are wearing is a product of someone’s faith. Someone saw it and believed it and it came to pass. The chair you are sitting on is the product of someone’s faith. Everything that you can see today was made by faith, yet faith is intangible. Faith is the confident assurance that we will have what we hope for. Faith is not just in words, some people are just about words of faith, faith is about action. And it is impossible to please God without faith. Even the God that we are dealing with expects that when we come to Him we come by faith. When you go to church, you go by faith. Everything you do, you do by faith. When it is time to praise God, you stand on your feet by faith. When you lift your hands to heaven, you are lifting up your hands by faith believing that God is [God exists] and He is a rewarder of those that sincerely seek Him. Whatever you do in worship, as you give, as you bow, you are doing by faith because anything outside of faith is sin.

People believed and they have results [Hebrews 11:1-40]. We thank God for testimonies around us. But with testimonies, you always have a choice. You can watch other people testify and their lives change. Or you can step out by yourself, believe and confess that you are next in line because God is not a respecter of persons. Everyone that comes to God must believe that He exists [that God is] and that God is a rewarder of those that sincerely seek Him. It takes faith to fast. You fast because you believe there is a God somewhere and so you deny yourself so that you can be in tune with Him. You fast in faith so that you can be in a position to commune with God and receive everything He has for you. That is faith and that is action. Some people think if you have faith then you do not need to fast. That is very far from the truth. Faith will make you fast. Some people think they do not need to pray because they have faith. So they focus on just confessing positively. Well that is part of praying, when you confess it you are praying. But faith will make you pray.

Prayer: Holy Spirit, help me to always act and believe that God will come through, in Jesus Name.
