All About Worship I

“Get out of here, satan,” Jesus told him. “For the Scriptures say, ‘You must worship the Lord your God and serve only him” Matt.4:10

“Next the devil took him to the peak of a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. “I will give it all to you,” he said, “if you will kneel down and worship me.” Matt.4:8-9 [emphasis added]. This third temptation was the peak of the temptations for Jesus. All three temptations were all still about worship. The devil showed Jesus the glories and the kingdoms of the world and said I am going to give it to you. It is just you and I here, just bow down and worship me Jesus the Son of God. This is Jesus satan was talking to and he know full well who Jesus was. But satan still came to tempt Jesus saying worship me and I will give you what you have come for. Jesus I knew that from day one you had the plan to come and redeem man and make the kingdom of this world the kingdom of our God. I know that is why you have come but pay a huge price, I can deliver it to you on a platter. Instead of you going through whatever God has for you because I know God, there must be something you have come to do. But I am delivering it to you, the only thing you need to do Jesus is bow down and worship me. Nobody will know, just you and I [Matthew 4: 8-11 paraphrased]. How many times has the enemy offered you that thing that you have been looking for and said all I need is just compromise after all nobody will know. I am here to tell you that the devil is not after your bread he is after your worship. The devil is not after your health he is after your worship. The devil is not after your husband he is after your worship. The devil is not after your job he is after your worship. If he needs to get your job to make you worship him he will attempt it. If he needs to get your bread to make you worship him he will attempt it. If he needs to get your husband, or your wife, or your children, or whatever he needs to touch to make you worship him he will attempt it. “ “Get out of here, satan,” Jesus told him. “For the Scriptures say, ‘You must worship the Lord your God and serve only him.”  Then the devil went away, and angels came and took care of Jesus” Matt.4:10-11. But he will fail because he failed with Jesus and we are aligned with Jesus. By the grace of God he will fail with you. It is all about worship. The deception of the secret societies is they offer you the things you need, or the you think you need, or shall we say you feel you need. But the reality is this, do not miss this, you and all that belongs to you belongs to the person you worship!

Prayer: Father, I decree in the Name of Jesus that me and my household shall worship the Lord our God and serve only Him, in Jesus Name.
