All About Worship II

“Turn away my eyes from beholding vanity (idols and idolatry); and restore me to vigorous life and health in Your ways” Ps.119:37 [AMP]

It all about worship! The devil said to Jesus all you need to do is bow and worship me. Now that may sound innocent. The three Hebrew boys [Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego] were faced with the same temptation. All you need to do is bow to the idol when you hear the sound of the bugle. Just bow, after all if you bow you will save yourself the flaming furnace and when you get home you will plead the Blood of Jesus. That is what a lot of people do. I can compromise all I want, I have a bucket of the Blood at home. I will just use it to bath and I will be fine. Listen do not mortgage your destiny. Why? You and all you have belong to whom you worship! The devil said he will give Jesus the kingdoms of the world if he would bow down and worship him right? Supposing Jesus actually did bow down and worship him, who do you think would own Jesus and the kingdom? When you bow your knees and you worship Jehovah the Maker of the heavens and the earth, the one who owns you and everything you have, is God. And if you bear His Name then He is responsible for you. God is responsible for your protection and to arise on your behalf. That is why I am not afraid of anything because they that are with me, are more than they that are against me. God is responsible for my provision because I bear His Name. He is responsible for me because I bow my knees to Him and everything I have belongs to Him. That is why there is nothing I can give God that can ever make me feel I am giving Him too much. Don’t you understand? He owns it anyway and He is able to do all He has promised for me. He is able to do all that He has said He will do. It is all about Jesus! The person you worship owns you. If you own a slave and that slave has ten cars, who has the ten cars? When it is all said and done the separation will be about who worshipped who. At the end of the day it is going to be who worshipped Jesus and who worshipped satan.

A lot of people in church are bowing to satan. At every beck and call of the enemy, they compromise and bow their knees to satan. You and I need to get to that point like the three Hebrew boys, where we boldly say ‘the God that we serve is able to deliver us’. We belong to Him, we bow to Him we cannot bow to another god. He is able to deliver!

Prayer: Father, Turn away my eyes from beholding vanity (idols and idolatry); and restore me to vigorous life and health in Your ways, In Jesus Name.
