Be Free!

“And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself. And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity” Luke 13:10-11 [KJV]

The woman could not lift herself because of a spirit of infirmity and the scripture says satan bound her. Today you will be loosed and you will loosen things because God says whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in the heaven. So in anyway satan has bound you and you can in no way raise yourself up, in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, be loosed! It could be spiritually; some people are bound spiritually and cannot sustain a walk with God. In fact, such people struggle to sustain a walk with God. If you are bound spiritually you will be free today in Jesus Name.

Some are bound emotionally; they are just an emotional wreck and causing trouble everywhere. Every way you have been bound emotionally, you will be free today, in Jesus Name. Some are bound financially; you are a man but you cannot take care of your family. Look, that is not right; you should cry to God and God will set you free, in Jesus Name. Some are bound in their families; bound by shame and reproach. There are things that just keep coming back to push you down. Those things will loose their power over you, in Jesus Name.

In Luke 13: 12, something that can easily be missed happened. “And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him…” I mean you could just read past that very quickly but that is so significant. Why? Jesus wanted her to come to Him. There are people that did not have to come to Jesus. Jesus could send His Word [and He did] and it would heal them. But Scripture says, “when Jesus saw her, he called her to him…” This is instructive to us. Jesus wants you to come to Him. She will be healed but it is more than the healing.

You will get what God has purposed for you but it is more than you just getting it. When you pray, you will discover in your life that the greatest answer to prayer is not what you have asked for. The greatest answer to prayer is God Himself. When you have really prayed and you have broken through, you will discover God Himself. Thank God for what you have prayed for but you will discover that beyond that, you have Him.

Prayer [song]: Draw me close to You. Never let me go. I lay it all down again to hear You say that I’m Your friend. You are my desire and no one else will do. ‘Cause nothing else can take Your place, to feel the warmth of Your embrace… You’re all I want… Amen!
