Unite, Obey and Align

“But the Lord came down to look at the city and the tower the people were building. “Look!” he said. “The people are united, and they all speak the same language. After this, nothing they set out to do will be impossible for them! Gen. 11:5-6

God always puts one person in charge and in marriage it is the same thing. I know that God has given us intelligent wives. God bless our wives. But ladies, never marry a man that you do not respect. Do not marry a man that when push comes to shove, even if you do not understand what he is saying, you do not respect him enough to obey and align. Do not marry him or you are headed for trouble. If you are already married to a man you do not respect then it is time to align with him and obey him as unto God. I hope you get that.

God wants us to reason together. God wants us to agree on a course of direction. But when there is a conflict in ideas and ideologies, there should be no confusion in the direction the family is going. That is the way it is set up. My wife is very intelligent, very brilliant. She is more intelligent than I am but I receive the vision from God. Now to the men, it is your responsibility to receive a vision, a direction from God for yourself and for your family. It is your call. You have no business getting married if you are not clear on that instruction from heaven. If you are a man reading this today and you are already married and admit that you are clueless on the vision and direction for your family, then go to God and He will tell you.

In the Book of Revelations, you will see that repeatedly John was told to write a letter to the Angel of the Church in Philadelphia, in Sardis, in Thyatira, in Ephesus. Obviously, John was not writing a letter to an angel in heaven. The word angel there means the person that has spiritual oversight over that Church. God will always send His instruction to the person that has oversight. God does not send his instruction to a committee.

I personally do not like committees. We work in teams and teams are fluid. Teams are set up for different purposes. Anytime I set up a team, I am always clear who calls the shots. The person may be the youngest but if he is the person calling the shots, you align- no stories. If you cannot align, you have an issue with God not with me. If you check, that is how God works.

Prayer: Holy Spirit, please empower me to unite with, obey and align with my spouse and church to go in the direction God is leading us, in Jesus Name.
