Why Pray?

“And I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you forbid on earth will be forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit on earth will be permitted in heaven” Matt.16:19

I pray that everything that is dying in your life and ought to be alive, will be resurrected and Jesus alone will be glorified. Please read Ezekiel 37:1-14. Ezekiel had a very dramatic prophetic experience. God took him to the valley of dry bones. God was trying to pass a message to Ezekiel that these people are going to move from death to life. However, this situation was not like any other. These people had died, the flesh dried from the bones, and all that was left were the bones. Take note that the bones were not arranged, they were scattered and the Bible describes these bones as very dry.

It was a completely hopeless situation. I do not know what you are going through or the aspect of your life that fits this description. In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, by the time this season is over, you will be standing on your own feet – bone to bone, flesh on flesh, with breath in you.

However, there are a couple of things that God wants us to see and address like He also showed Ezekiel. If you want transformation, you cannot just sit down and criticize. Many times when things are dry and hopeless, even in our lives, we criticize. God is saying, you have no right to criticize what you allow. Are you wondering how you allow it? When you sit down and you do nothing about it, you are allowing it. God is saying you cannot criticize what you allow.

Every time heaven wants to work, heaven always needs a man [or men or group of men]. The spirit realm cannot just interfere on earth. It is not allowed in both the positive supernatural and the negative supernatural. Do you know that satan and his demon cannot do anything until they receive permission from a man? There must be somebody that has given them his or her spirit, or his or her will, or his or her body to use. So they maintain a priesthood and agents, without which they cannot work. Similarly, without you and I, God cannot work and that is the power of prayer. Prayer gives permission to heaven to intervene. Prayer gives channel to heaven to work. So when you do not pray, you limit God’s power over your life and over that situation.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, I give You full control over my life. Father, work out Your plans for my life, in Jesus Name.
