He Is Jesus!

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace” Isa.9:6 [KJV]

We can never thank God enough for what Christmas represents to every believer. I pray that the purpose of Christmas will be fulfilled in your Life, in Jesus Name. It is so powerful to go into God’s Presence and to celebrate the reason for life – Christ, the Son of the Living God. Christmas is the reason really for living because of what it signifies. It is because of Christmas that we have access to the Presence of God. It is because Jesus came that we can fellowship and worship the Most High God. It is because Jesus came that we are accepted before the Throne of God.

It is because of Christmas that lives and families are changing for good and will continue to change. A lot of us are giving and receiving gifts from loved ones and even strangers this season. If you have not given a gift this Christmas season, I am here to tell you that that is not a good place to be. I pray that you will make the adjustment that is required to be in community. My wife and I are always very excited about the Christmas season. We are grateful for every gesture of love because each one matters to us and we do not take them for granted.

There have been a lot of arguments on whether Jesus was born on the 25th of December or not and whether He was born on the 28th of March or the 14th of April. And a lot of Christians have allowed themselves to be dragged into the irrelevant discussion of the specific day Christ was born and how that should be the day we celebrate Christmas. The truth is that man does not know the specific date that Christ was born. At least no one can prove it. But that Jesus came is not arguable. Every historian and archeologist, everyone even the unbelievers attest to the fact that there was someone that walked the face of this earth and it changed the course of existence forever and His Name is Jesus.

Prayer [song]: Jesus, You are the center of my joy. All that’s good and perfect comes from You. You’re the source of my contentment, the hope for all I do. Jesus, You are the center of my joy. Amen!
