Amen!

Lam.3:³⁷ Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not? [KJV]

Who is it that says you will not fulfill your destiny and you are afraid, when God has not said it? Who can command things to happen without the Lord’s permission? Num.23:²³ No curse can touch Jacob; no magic has any power against Israel. For now it will be said of Jacob, ‘What wonders God has done for Israel!’ Personalize it, replace Jacob in this Scripture with your own name and take the Scripture back to God.

Unfortunately, some Christians are still entangled with curses. Some people are affected because of ignorance – “my people perish because they lack knowledge”. They are entangled with curses because they allowed it, such people even pity the devil. Note: in the battle of life, it is fire or take fire. Since you will not be fired at, you better give fire. Some people are not even ignorant or allowing the curses, they invoke the curses upon themselves by their own words, actions, position, and location.

A curse can either be pronounced by God, people, or satan. Secondly, curses are usually empowered by the authority of the person issuing the curse. It could be a teacher, a parent, or a government; it could be God Himself or the enemy. Thirdly, curses go down generationally. Like a stream, curses keep flowing until it is stopped or blocked. To assume that curses will not keep flowing is erroneous.

The first effect of curses is that it releases supernatural forces to limit people or places. Curses cut off people’s expectations and destinies. Every curse that is meant to limit you and cut off your expectations, God will wipe out today in the Mighty Name of Jesus.

The function of some curses is to keep your mouth shut from saying Amen. Amen means ‘So Shall It Be’. You have to verbally agree with God because your voice activates things in the spiritual. At creation, God looked at the darkness and probably thought about light but nothing happened until He said, “let there be light” and there was light. You are not bigger than God.

Prayer: Father, in the Name of Jesus, I agree with Your Word that says no curse will touch me and no magic has any power against me and my household, in Jesus Name. Amen
