For His Glory

Ex.23:30 [Voice] “Rather, I will drive them out a little at a time—a few here, a few there—until your numbers grow and you are strong enough to take over the land and its care.”

Your growth is linked to your destiny. If you do not grow, if you do not increase in capacity, you cannot fulfill your destiny. Even though God was fighting for the nation of Israel, He still did not drive out all their enemies at once. And it was so that they could grow in strength. If you do not become restless, you cannot fulfill your destiny. Yes, God will grant the Israelites victory but as they fought the enemy, they grew in strength and capacity. It is the trials, the resistance that God uses to toughen us up.

Unfortunately, there are people [even some reading this today] that just want to run away from trials. For someone reading this today, you should actually not be facing the kind of trials you are faced with currently. The trial can be likened to that of primary school students when you are supposed to be in the university. But the reason you are still facing that trial is because you have refused to grow. And because you have not passed the examination, you have been carrying it over. I pray that you will pass the examination this time around, in Jesus Name.

To the primary school student, one plus one is two. But by the time that same student finishes secondary school, then he or she, should not approach that math sum in the same way. At the end of secondary school, you should ask in what base? If you do not ask then something is wrong with your mathematics. You cannot remain on primary school mathematics when heaven is trying to upgrade you.

God wants you to grow and sometimes it is the affliction that God will allow to grow you. God does not need to be the one to set the examination. Life poses to us trials daily but take comfort in the truth that nothing happens without God’s approval. Do you know that not a bird falls from the sky without God’s knowledge? No bird can fall without God approving. So also, nothing can happen to a strand of your hair without God knowing. God is aware of everything that is happening to you. He may not be the one doing it but He is aware. And if He has allowed it, it will be for His glory, in the Mighty Name of Jesus.

Prayer [song]: Oh God, Your love has never changed. You remain the same. Everlasting God You reign. Alpha, Omega, Beginning and the end, That’s just who You are. Imela… Amen!
