Evidence of Faith

James 2:18 (Voice) “I know what you’re thinking: “OK, you have faith. And I have actions. Now let’s see your faith without works, and I’ll show you a faith that works.”

Works are an evidence of faith. You cannot separate works from faith. Some people claim to have faith but not works and others pride themselves in their works without faith. However, James is saying “how can you have faith without work or how can you have works without faith?” Heb.11:3 “By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen” [with emphasis]. In other words, you have to create the future you desire from what is not seen by faith. Everything you see today did not exist without faith. From clothes, to houses, to furniture, somebody saw it and created it. Similarly, you will have to see the future you will have and create it.

God’s Favourite House as a church, is a miracle every step of the way. Things were created from the spirit realm; demands were placed from the spirit realm. You also have to create from the spiritual what you want to see in the physical. What do you want to see in the physical? You create it first in the spirit realm by praying, by fasting, by calling the things that be not as though they were because they would be, in Jesus Name. Amen! In the spirit, you take a stand to build, raise the standard in heaven and demolish every structure that is hindering all that you want of God.

It is so important that you realize that nothing happens until it is created in the spirit realm – nothing! Hebrews 11 shows us several examples of stepping up in faith. We are going to learn from these examples and God will empower us to step up in faith also. The first example is Abel [Please read Heb.11: 4]. Abel and Cain both brought an offering to God. But God accepted one and rejected the other. May God accept and not reject your offerings. A lot of people get uncomfortable with the subject of offerings. And it is because it has been abused. But the fact that something has been abused does not mean it is totally useless. In God’s Favourite House, we focus on teaching people how to find God and people respond to God. Giving is just an act of worship and that is what differentiated Abel’s offering.

Prayer: Lord, I pray that my offerings will be acceptable to You, in Jesus Name. Amen!
