Triumphant

Col.2:14 He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross. 15 In this way, he disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross” [with emphasis].

The devil and all his demonic hosts were disarmed, defeated and publicly shamed! It was not a private affair; it was a public disgrace. What does that mean for you and I? We will look at three things and I am trusting that the Holy Spirit will show and teach you much more.

Firstly, it means you and I are free from satan and his host – indisputably free! Secondly, it means you and I are empowered to destroy every work of satan and his demonic hosts. In addition to freedom from satan and his demonic hosts, we have the power to destroy his works. Thirdly, above all, you and I are free to walk with God and that is just beautiful.

Col.2:20 “You have died with Christ, and he has set you free from the spiritual powers of this world…” Jesus has set you free from the spiritual powers of this world. So, if you are reading this today and you have been under any form of bondage, I say let the bondage be broken in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Let The Cross of Jesus be a consistent reminder to you that the price for your freedom was fully paid for. You are free!

I strongly believe that it is an insult on Calvary for demons to be pressing a Christian in his or her sleep. Yes, you were able to say the Name of Jesus and it stopped but beyond that, what God wants for you is that such demons should not even be able to touch you. When any demon tries to touch you, they should explode; that is how it should be. Today, I challenge you to arise and become who God has called you to be.

The story is told of a young evangelist who had a crusade in some village. So many people surrendered their lives to Jesus during the first and second days of the crusade. The head witch of the village decided to attack him physically. So, at night in the shed where he was sleeping, she showed up. He said he felt fear literally envelope him and when he looked, he saw the witch by his window. And he smiled, turned his back and slept off. Why was he able to do that? It is because Jesus “…disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross”

Prayer: In Jesus Name, I declare that I will consistently overcome by the Blood of the Lamb, by the testimony of Jesus in my heart and in my mouth and I will be fearless. Amen!
