Armed & Dangerous

Mark 3:27 Let me illustrate this further. Who is powerful enough to enter the house of a strong man and plunder his goods? Only someone even stronger—someone who could tie him up and then plunder his house.

When you enter the house of a strong man, you have to deal with the strong man first before you plunder and take possession of his goods. You need to know that your destiny is bright, your destiny is great, and God’s plan for your destiny is huge. Therefore, you have to fight [contend] for it. Isaiah 49:25 (KJV) “But thus saith the Lord, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.” You are not going to fight alone.

The first reason people do not fight is ignorance and the second reason is Fear. God is saying to you and I today, do not be afraid to fight. First of all, it is inevitable so there is no point being afraid. By the grace of God, I cannot remember ever being afraid to write any exam. At a very young age, I reasoned that it is inevitable, everybody has to do exams. Even if you are afraid of it, you will still have to do it, there is no escaping it. You might as well prepare for it and face it. Do not be afraid because greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.

I pray that God will open your eyes to see yourself spiritually. The average [normal] Christian is in full armor; you have grenades, an AK-47, an automatic rifle, an assault rifle, and you also have a snipper gun. You are armed to the teeth. You need to walk in this consciousness; pretty or handsome on the outside, armed and dangerous on the inside. Unfortunately, some Christians do not know they are armed and so they run from battle. Settle it in your heart today not to be reckless in taking on any battle that comes your way. The battles that are inevitable, make sure you do not run from them.

Ps.78:The warriors of Ephraim, though armed with bows, turned their backs and fled on the day of battle.” I am praying, in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth that you will not run in the day of battle. Whoever runs in the day of battle is leaving his or her back unprotected. Such people are totally vulnerable to arrows and shots. God wants you to resolve it once and for all in your heart to stand and fight. Guess what? You are fighting because you will win and you are not fighting alone.  Combat is active hostility, you are in combat so get used to it.

Prayer:  Father, in the day of battle, I will stand and fight and will obtain victory, because the Lord is with me, I will not be afraid, in Jesus Name. Amen!
