Thank You Lord!

Luke 17:15 “Then one of them, upon seeing that he was cured, turned back, recognizing and thanking and praising God with a loud voice; 16 And he fell prostrate at Jesus’ feet, thanking Him [over and over]. And he was a Samaritan.” [AMPC]

Judah had been surrounded by three mighty nations and the king, Hezekiah prayed, and God gave him a Word. 2Chr.20:21 After consulting the people, the king appointed singers to walk ahead of the army, singing to the Lord and praising him for his holy splendor. This is what they sang: “Give thanks to the Lord; his faithful love endures forever![with emphasis] Imagine positioning your local church choir in front of soldiers heading on the offensive towards the enemy’s camp. All the choir is singing is, “For the Lord is good, for the Lord is good, for the Lord is good and His mercy endureth forever!” Many people will exit the choir and opt to serve in the intercessory team, praying for the choir as they go.

The truth is, in the natural it looks foolish, it does not make any sense. Proactive gratitude sometimes does not make sense but it is a deadly blow. It is so powerful. 2Chr.20:22 At the very moment they began to sing and give praise, the Lord caused the armies of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir to start fighting among themselves. 23 The armies of Moab and Ammon turned against their allies from Mount Seir and killed every one of them. After they had destroyed the army of Seir, they began attacking each other. 24 So when the army of Judah arrived at the lookout point in the wilderness, all they saw were dead bodies lying on the ground as far as they could see. Not a single one of the enemy had escaped.” [with emphasis].

Approach that situation singing to the Lord, itwill look foolish to everyone around you but I prophecy that at the very moment you begin to sing and give praise, the lord will cause all the enemy’s armies before you to start fighting among themselves. By the time you will arrive at the lookout point, all you will see is the dead bodies of your enemies lying on the ground. Not a single one of the enemy will escape, and so shall it be in Jesus Name. Not a single one escaped just because they sang, they gave God praise, and they showed gratitude to God. It is a huge weapon. It is actually a deadly blow.

When you have faith to receive healing, breakthrough, or deliverance and you do not have the grace to come back to say thank you to God, you rob yourself. You do yourself a dis-service. A lot of people have experienced amazing life change, but they are not willing to testify and give God praise. The fact that you are a shy person is not an excuse. Just give gratitude to God!

Prayer [song]: And I will not be silent, I will always worship You. As long as I am breathing, I will always worship You. Here’s my worship, all of my worship. Receive my worship… Amen!
