Verbalize It!

Luke 17: 17 Jesus asked, “Didn’t I heal ten men? Where are the other nine18 Has no one returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?” [with emphasis]

When you have the faith to receive a healing and you don’t have the grace to come back and say, “thank you”, you cheat yourself. When we are overwhelmed by the “next thing”, we risk missing out of the best things. It is truly amazing how God will take a life and totally transform it. Jesus asked, where are the nine? I pray, in the Name of Jesus, that concerning the situation that God has done good for you, Jesus will not say where are you? Where are the nine? Rather Jesus will say, is it only Femi Monehin [insert your name] that could come back to say thank you? I truly believe that there are a lot of great churches in the world. My prayer for God’s Favourite House is, that God will say, with all the amazing things I am doing amongst my people, is it only God’s Favourite House that will consistently come back to say thank you?

Set time aside in your life, pen it down on your calendar, schedule it if you will and dedicate it to praise and sing to God. Just set time aside to show gratitude to God that, whereas I was blind but now I can see. May Jesus say of you and of God’s Favourite House, if I do not get thanksgiving anywhere else, I am sure of this my child’s house and of God’s Favourite House. So shall it be in Jesus Name, Amen! You have to make up your mind to be a grateful child.

The punch of obedience and the punch of gratitude; you need to internalize these punches in light of their weight spiritually. Then confront yourself with these questions;

  1. How can I be more obedient to God?
  2. What instruction is outstanding in my life? What has God told me to do and I have not done?
  3. What area of gratitude can I build on and demonstrate before God today?

Isa.54:17 “But in that coming day no weapon turned against you will succeed. You will silence every voice raised up to accuse you. These benefits are enjoyed by the servants of the Lord; their vindication will come from me. I, the Lord, have spoken!” [with emphasis]. No enemy punch will come upon you or land on you because this benefit is enjoyed by the servants of the Lord. Servants belongs to their masters. To enjoy this benefit you need to belong to Jesus. Today is the perfect time to make Jesus Lord and lover your life. I pray that you take this step today.

Prayer: Father, give me the grace to obey You, the grace to be filled with responsive and proactive gratitude all the days of my life, in Jesus Name. Amen!
