Spirit Within

Dan.5:14 “I have heard that you have the spirit of the gods within you and that you are filled with insight, understanding, and wisdom.”

Daniel did not have any form of accountability or supervision. He was away from home, meaning he had the freedom to live anyhow he wanted to. How did Daniel get it right in spite of all this? In scriptures, we see Daniel survive four kingdoms, but history tells us that Daniel actually survived nine kingdoms. He was not rude. Daniel was actually respectful to the kings. He was not obnoxious. He did not compromise. Each of the kings had the same testimony about Daniel, “If you want somebody that knows God, go to Daniel.” I pray, in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, that this will be your testimony also. I pray that it will be said of you, he or she carries the Spirit of God.

Daniel had no mentor, no teacher, and no pastor. Daniel did not have the Bible, he did not have the Holy Spirit, he did not have the Blood of Jesus, and Jesus did not die for him. But Daniel rose and became indispensable. You will rise and become indispensable in Jesus Name. Please read Daniel 1:1-4 & 21. I pray that you will never do anything to make God give your enemies victory over you [say Amen]. I know some Christians think that it is not possible for a believer to do anything that will make God give his or her enemies victory over them. That is a big fat lie. These were the children of God, but God gave a pagan king permission to steal from His own temple. I pray that whatever you will do to make God permit ‘Nebuchadnezzar’ to erode your resources, will not happen in Jesus Name. God will not permit the enemy to rule in your life.

Daniel 1:21 Daniel remained in the royal service until the first year of the reign of King Cyrus.” There was king Nebuchadnezzar, king Belshazzar, king Dairus, and king Cyrus and Daniel remained. Daniel came into the Babylon in chains, but he triumphed. This speaks to the fact that it really does not matter how you start or where you are right now. Do not judge where you will be by where you are. Do not judge what God will do through you by the hand you have been dealt. Do not resign your destiny to the hand that you have been dealt. This is what God is saying to you and me, do not give up because of your circumstance or because of the circumstances of your nation. Do not give up because the economy is tough or because things are challenging. Be confident because God’s Word says, and your testimony will be, “When men are saying there is a casting down, you will say there is a lifting up”. Believe that no matter what, God will lift you up and so shall it be.

Prayer: Father, I ask that You purge me of anything that does not align with You and fill me afresh with Your Holy Spirit, in Jesus Name. Amen!
