How It Works

Dan.3: 25 “Look!” Nebuchadnezzar shouted. “I see four men, unbound, walking around in the fire unharmed! And the fourth looks like a god!”

Ambassadors of God’s Kingdom know that honour is given to whom honour is due and worship is given to Whom worship is due. God alone, the Maker of the heavens and the earth, is worthy of the worship of His people. If like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, you can go through the fire that comes as a result of your stand for God, God will be real to you. But some people have only just begun to approach the fiery furnace, some have only just been arraigned before the king and they are shouting. “Where is my God? Do not stay silent, O God! Do not let the enemy rejoice over me!”

Believe me, if we do not go through the fire, we cannot taste the promotion and victory. God cannot trust you if He has not tried you. You want the power, yet at the slightest hint of fire, you draw out your knife in self-defense. If you do not submit yourself to the testing then you will have to remain where you are, on that same level. But God wants to promote you [say amen], do not be afraid. The truth is no one is looking for fire, not even Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. When the law was passed [Dan.3:4-6], Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego did not go and challenge the king. They just maintained their stand and did not worship the statue. No one asks for fire but if that is the path God has ordained for you, then face it gallantly and you will see God revealed.

Noteworthy also is, they were thrown into the fire, they saw and fellowshipped with the Son of God and their chains fell off. Many people will walk out of that fire, step on the heads of the people that bound them and confront Nebuchadnezzar. They would say, “Jesus, follow me, let me show them the kind of God that I serve! You think you can bind us? Our God is the Consuming fire, fire cannot consume Him!” That is the attitude of a kindergarten Christian. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego stayed where they were until the king himself made a move based on what he had seen. Joseph did not organize a jail break and show up before pharaoh reeling out his resume of revelation, anointing, and vision. Joseph let God’s plan run its course. Joseph became the prime minister of the world’s super power at the time. He knew the way home, but Joseph did not go back. Joseph stayed in Egypt until it was time. What happens to people that have really gone through the fire is, they allow God to glorify Himself knowing that God does not need help from any man. Joseph stayed in Egypt, faithful to God and to God’s assignment for him. Wow!

Prayer [song]: Father, we love You. We worship and adore You. Glorify Your Name in all the earth. Glorify Your Name, glorify Your Name, glorify Your Name in all the earth. Amen!
