Biblical Attitudes, II

2 Timothy 2:15 “Work hard so God can say to you, “Well done.” Be a good workman, one who does not need to be ashamed when God examines your work…” (LB).

The first Biblical attitude for work metamorphosis is, You Must Work Enthusiastically Wherever You Are Right Now! There are two keys to enthusiasm. So, if you see someone that is not enthusiastic, they lack those two keys. Also, if you find that you are not enthusiastic at work, Read the rest of this entry

Foremost

Malachi 3:10 “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.” (NIV)

We kick off today’s devotional with our final thought from yesterday and that is, to experience financial metamorphosis, I Must Give The First 10% Back To God. I shared yesterday that God taught me how to tithe, and I have been tithing for decades. Read the rest of this entry

The Fundamentals

Psalm 2:8 “Ask of Me, and I will give You The nations for Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth for Your possession.” (NKJV)

One of the best ways of getting the best out of relationships is by asking the right questions. And like we said yesterday, most people do not know how to ask questions in relationships. You have people around you even now, who know things that can change your life forever. Read the rest of this entry

Christ Alone

Rom.5:18-19 “Yes, Adam’s one sin brings condemnation for everyone, but Christ’s one act of righteousness brings a right relationship with God and new life for everyone. … because one other person obeyed God, many will be made righteous.”

Let me tell you the story of a student and his professor. The student completely displeased with his result, barged into the professor’s office complaining, “I do not deserve to get zero on this course. How can you give me such a grade?” Read the rest of this entry

Provoked Turn

1 Kings 17:13 “But Elijah said to her, “Don’t be afraid! Go ahead and do just what you’ve said, but make a little bread for me first. Then use what’s left to prepare a meal for yourself and your son.”

Earlier on in my walk with God, I struggled with this scripture. How can a prophet who withdrew the rain by the finger of God, has been feeding fat by divine provision, now come and demand for the first portion from this widow who probably had emaciated and had a son to care Read the rest of this entry

Divine Turn

Proverbs 11:24-25 “One person gives freely, yet gains even more; another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty. Be generous, and you will be prosperous. Help others, and you will be helped.” (NIV & GNT)

By the grace of God, your turning point has begun; therefore, expect a turnaround from Darkness to Light. Expect a turnaround from the Prison to the Palace. Expect a turnaround from Sorrow to Joy in the Name of Jesus. Read the rest of this entry

Think On These

Luke 11:10 “For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.”

We start today’s devotional with the concluding thought from yesterday which is, “Lay hands suddenly on no man…” (1 Tim. 5:22, KJV). John provides us with the missing link regarding Jesus choosing the disciples. We see from John’s account that Jesus already knew these men before He engaged them. Read the rest of this entry

Turn-Around

2Cor.4:17 For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!” [with emphasis]

God wants you to know that your troubles, no matter how big and complex they may seem, are small. Who will you believe, the problem or God? Read the rest of this entry

The Test

Dan.6: 14 “Hearing this, the king was deeply troubled, and he tried to think of a way to save Daniel. He spent the rest of the day looking for a way to get Daniel out of this predicament.”

Life will consistently present you with situations where you are helpless, the question is, what will you do at such time? Yesterday, I told you about my position never to cheat in any examination, right? I was a computer Read the rest of this entry

How It Works

Dan.3: 25 “Look!” Nebuchadnezzar shouted. “I see four men, unbound, walking around in the fire unharmed! And the fourth looks like a god!”

Ambassadors of God’s Kingdom know that honour is given to whom honour is due and worship is given to Whom worship is due. God alone, the Maker of the heavens and the earth, is worthy of the worship of His people. If like Read the rest of this entry
