Revealed

Eph.4:1 “Therefore, I a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God. 2 Always be humble and gentle…” [with emphasis].

What has God told you to do but you have left undone? Who has God told you to forgive that you have not forgiven? What has God told you to give, but you are still holding unto? When you obey and forgive, when you do what God has told you to do, God will meet you at the point of your need. Guess what? You will also be meeting God at the point of His need because they are also His children. He needs to reach out to them, He needs to heal them, and He needs to restore them. But first, God needs you to make the move in obedience. When you let go in obedience to God, particularly when it seems unimaginable, God will meet you at the point of your need. Again, you will be meeting God at the point of His need. God needs to get things to His children, He needs to get provision to them. But first, He needs you to make the move in obedience to His voice.

Isa.6:8 (KJV) “Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.” Jesus responded, and He met God’s need. Jesus did not think equality with God was something to hold unto. He admitted that the Father was higher, better and wiser. He did not hold on to His privileges, but rather He let it go and obeyed God no matter what. Philip.2:9Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Therefore, because of this God made Jesus unstoppable!

Every time I am humble, I become unstoppable and it glorifies God. Every time I defer to God, I am humble, I become unstoppable and it glorifies God. Every single time I do not hold on to my own privileges, I am humble, I become unstoppable and it glorifies God. Every time I obey God no matter what, I am humble, I become unstoppable and it glorifies God. It glorifies God when we are unstoppable, and humility is a hidden unstoppable force. Always choose the humble position. For some of us, we did not start out proud or arrogant but over the years, pride and arrogance have crept in. We have allowed the things that should breed humility become the source of pride in our lives. True humility can only be the work of the Holy Spirit. Humility is a reflection of our relationship with God. So, we must grow in our relationship with God. If you are struggling with letting go of your privileges, or obedience, or forgiveness, ask God to help you.

Prayer: Father, I surrender to You, empower me to be all that You have created me to be, let my heart be right with You Lord, in Jesus Name. Amen!
