Source Dependent I

Acts 17:28 “For in him we live and move and exist. As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’”

Blessings are spiritual streams. A stream should have a source and an outlet. Understanding the importance of the source and the outlet makes our lives pleasurable and easier. It Is The Source That  Creates The Stream and not the other way around. It is God that determines our flow. We do not determine God’s happiness and we do not determine His flow. It is easy to say, “Bless the Lord oh my soul”, but we really cannot bless God. It is God that can bless us because blessings like streams flow from a high potential to a low potential. A stream that forgets its source will dry up. A lot of people are experiencing dryness today because they have forgotten their Source. The good news is God has ordered your steps for a purpose. You will be connected to the Source of the Highest in the Mighty Name of Jesus.

Deut.8:7-11 For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land of flowing streams and pools of water, with fountains and springs that gush out in the valleys and hills. It is a land of wheat and barley; of grapevines, fig trees, and pomegranates; of olive oil and honey.  It is a land where food is plentiful and nothing is lacking. It is a land where iron is as common as stone, and copper is abundant in the hills.  When you have eaten your fill, be sure to praise the Lord your God for the good land he has given you. “But that is the time to be careful! Beware that in your plenty you do not forget the Lord your God and disobey his commands, regulations, and decrees that I am giving you today.” God was saying to the Jews in essence, when your wealth increases and you become big, do not forget the Lord your God. Remember your Source. Forgetting your source is asking to be cut off because it is the Source that creates the stream, not the other way around.

It Is The Source That Creates The Flow [The Current] Of The Stream. The flow [the current] is what makes a stream a stream. In other words, what makes a stream a stream is in its flowing and it is the Source that determines it. It is the Source that determines the flow and current of the stream. The God of heaven will determine your current and your flow in the Name of Jesus. The higher and stronger the Source, in the case of a spring, the stronger the flow [the current]. I pray that you are anointed from the Highest and Strongest Source today in the Name of Jesus. And because of the anointing, your flow will be consistently strong in the Mighty Name of Jesus. It is the Source that creates the stream. It is the Source that creates the flow. A stream that forgets its source will lose its flow and dry up. But you will not lose your flow and you will not dry up. However, if this describes the story of your life, I pray that it will be reversed today. People often ask me, “What is the secret of your freshness? You always have abundance spiritually and materially, what is the secret?” Well, here you go!

Prayer:  Lord Jesus, You alone are the Source of my streams and You alone will determine my flow and my current. No more dryness, in Jesus Name. Amen!
